End date is contingent on the start date, which may vary. This is a one-year position with the possibility of renewal for a second year. in Economics after acquiring one or two years of research experience. This position is ideal for seniors graduating by Summer 2022 or final year master’s students with a strong interest in pursuing a Ph.D. We pay a competitive salary and provide standard benefits such as health insurance. In addition to working closely with faculty, senior research specialists participate in the vibrant academic life of Princeton University, including taking graduate or undergraduate courses, attending seminars, and engaging with graduate students and other research assistants. The opportunity to actively participate in fieldwork in a developing country context is also a possibility (though not required) for the position. The positions involve a variety of tasks that provide excellent preparation for graduate school, such as managing data sets, statistical analysis, design and implementation of surveys, summarizing research findings, and editing research papers.
